Abstract

The publication of the Common European Framework of Reference marks a milestone in the teaching of foreign languages in Europe. It is presented as a reflection document on the language and as a tool that facilitates communication between foreign languages professionals. So, its purpose is to help the user to take their own decisions and not to set guidelines about what has to be done and how to do it.
