Abstract

This paper aims to analyze news that focus on migratory movements and that appeared in the main newspapers of Spanish speaking countries along 2016. The news used for our analysis have been gathered using Factiva®, a multilingual information service that allows to search for news in more than 7500 newspapers and periodicals. The search has been conducted employing linguistic, contextual, geographical, and chronological criteria.
