Abstract

In this paper will address some of these issues concerning the close relationship between mind and brain, and role that inferences play on comprehension processes and language comprehension. This paper starts with an introduction about pragmatics inferences and the fMRI method. This paper also presents some important results obtained by fMRI related to language comprehension, and supports some educational implications for the study of language and comprehension processes.
