Abstract

Oral expression is a skill or communication skill that makes no sense without understanding, without the processing and interpretation of what has been heard. Oral expression involves interaction and bidirectionality, in a shared context, in a situation in which meanings must be negotiated. Communication is a process, an action, based on expressive and interpretive skills, so the oral expression should be understood as such, along with oral comprehension, reading and writing.
