This comment about the article “La adquisición de la posesión gramatical: La influencia del inglés (L1) en estudiantes de español (L2)” (The acquisition of the grammatical possession: The influence of English [L1] in Spanish students [L2]) written by Julia Martínez González, Ph.D. addresses the topic by means of a comparison, using the voice of two Spanish-as-aSecond Language teachers from the National University of Córdoba (Argentine Republic), who helped reading a text and answering a few questions about their interpretation, as well as demonstrating their experience on the topic in their own lessons with students whose L1 is English.
