Abstract

The teaching of Spanish as a foreign language in school contexts is one of the main research areas of the Group of Innovation of the University of Alcalá GIELEN, dedicated to the teaching of the Spanish Language to Children (UAH-GI13-59). This paper presents the interview that has been developed to analyze and evaluate educational policies in schools that welcome immigrant students or students belonging to families possessing languages and / or cultures other than the instruction. This questionnaire has been used with management team, counselors and teachers of schools and institutes of the Community of Madrid to know the different actions aimed at the integration of immigrant students and coexistence in the classrooms of students with different mother tongues, cultures and customs. It is present the first results obtained after the application of this tool in the Madrid-East area.
