Author Biographies

Encarna Atienza Cerezo, Pompeu Fabra University

Full Professor in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the University of Barcelona (UB). She is a member of the Gr@el research group.
She teaches undergraduate, Master's and PhD courses in subjects related to Languages and Education. She is also a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. Her research focuses on educational ideologies, the development of multilingual competence, the assessment of discursive competence and the promotion of reflective practice. She is currently immersed in the configuration of a didactic model for the development of critical attitude and interculturality.

Marta García García

Professor of Spanish Didactics at the University of Göttingen (Germany) and PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of Alcalá. Her research interests focus on the application of conversation analysis to language teaching, gamification and Spanish as a heritage language in Germany. She is currently coordinating the Critical Spanish Language Teacher Education (CRITERION) project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
