Author Biography

Teresa Fernández-Ulloa, California State University

Ph.D. in Spanish Language and Linguistics from the University of Deusto (Bilbao, 1998). She teaches at the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, California State University, Bakersfield, where she has worked since 2003. Her research focuses on sociolinguistics, critical political discourse analysis, language and literature teaching methodology, and women’s creative production. She has co-edited several volumes on linguistics, didactics and gender studies and published widely on global competence, critical education, and feminism.
