Abstract

Language teaching, especially English, is a business around the world. It's not just about the institutes dedicated to this or jobs for teachers, but also for associated industries: production and edition of didactic material (books, cassettes and videocassettes, dictionaries and grammars), the sale of literature, music, cinema, television programs, book translations, movie dubbing, text processors for computers, etc.
