On the meaning of Spanish “pretérito perfecto” and its study on geolinguistics variation

Concerning the article on Cuban Spanish (Montero Cádiz in this issue), the author reflects on the geolinguistic variation of Spanish in terms of “he cantado / canté” functional distinction, on the Cuban corpus studied, on the effects of linguistic prestige of "peninsular Spanish" and on specific aspects of the tense-aspect interrelationship in grammatical interpretation of “pretérito perfecto”.
