Abstract

In this paper we present some important conclusions extracted from literature on question-answering that can be applied to the educational field. On the one hand, we present a brief revision of empirical research that allow us to know the State of Art, as well as some of the basic regulatory mechanisms, and types of questions that can be generated. On the other hand, we show some illustrating applied research with a clear pedagogic orientation. This article concludes with a number of suggestions extracted from literature conceived to be useful to teachers in their daily practice.
